How do I prepare for my Flawless Tan?
Shower, exfoliate and remove any body lotion, moisturizers, perfume
and deodorant. These items create a barrier between the solution and
your skin. The solution will not absorb properly if not removed from the
skin. If you are coming after work and do not have time to shower, please
bring wipes with you to wipe down. We DO NOT provide wipes. Pedicures,
manicures and waxing should all be done before your tan as well.
What do I wear during my spray tan?
This is completely up to you. Women typically go nude but you have the
option of wearing disposable panties (which we provide), wearing your own
underwear or bikini. Men also have the option of going nude or wearing a pair of boxers or briefs. Anything you leave on does leave tan lines.
What type of clothing should I wear after my spray tan?
Loose and dark colored clothing are perfect! Tight fitting clothes can cause skin friction in the first couple of hours after your airbrush tan and this may affect the outcome of your tan. Any rub-off of the bronzer should easily wash out of most fabrics. Avoid Nylon or Wool as these may absorb the bronzer.
How Long Will My Spray Tan Last?
This varies with individual skin types and how well you shower/exfoliate beforehand and how you maintain it after. In general, it lasts between 5-7 days. You can get 7+ days with our tan extender. You should allow 8 hours after the spray tan application before showering and the less you shower after the tan longer it will last. The more you are in water (showering/pool) the more the tan comes off.
Will the solution stain my clothes?
We have not experienced this with any of our clients. However if the solution does get on your clothes the solution is completely water soluble and typically comes off all articles of clothing in a normal wash cycle. With that being said, I would be cautious with certain fabrics such as silk.
What should I avoid immediately after my airbrush tan?
DO NOT SHOWER FOR 8 HOURS because your color is processing during this time. After processing you can rinse and you will see some color wash from your skin. This is completely normal, and is only the bronzer. Avoid long, hot baths and showers.
How do I maintain my Flawless Tan?
Moisturizing and washing with the right products is key! We sell after care products to help maintain and maximize your Flawless Tan!
What shouldn’t I use after my spray tan?
DO NOT exfoliate or wash with loofah, body scrubs or bar soaps.
DO NOT use body washes or soaps with exfoliating beads until your tan starts to fade away.
Why does an airbrush spray tan look better than a mystic tan?
There are a few big key differences between the two. Airbrush tanning is a customized spray tan done by a person with a gun. The benefit to this is the gun allows us to be more precise and as a result the tan turns out more even and streak free. Our solution is also a beautiful golden color so you don’t have to worry about looking orange.
Appointments!
Being on time is very important and I cannot stress this enough. We do our best to accommodate everyone and it is extremely important to be on time and prepare for traffic etc in advance. When one person is late it affects our entire schedule and pushes us behind and we don’t want unhappy clients. If you are late and we can accommodate you we absolutely will. With that being said, there are no guarantees that we can take you if you are late but we will be more than happy to reschedule you.
Cancellations
If for some reason you have to cancel your appointment please give us at least a 24 hour notice. Our service is by appointment only and we usually have a wait list for cancellations. So if you think you can't make your appointment or just need to cancel please let us know ASAP!
